The Kshatriya Youth Club (KYC) of Brisbane, Australia was established in 1996 at
an Annual General Meeting of the Kshatriya Society of Brisbane Inc (KSB). As such,
the KYC is a division of the Kshatriya Society of Brisbane Inc.
The purpose of the Kshatriya Youth Club is to:
- organise social gatherings; and
- promote sporting activities,
within and for the benefit of the Kshatriya community in Brisbane
As the KYC is a division of KSB, all members of the KSB are members of the KYC.
The KYC has generally adopted the constitution of the KSB, with appropriate changes where necessary.
The Committee consists of nine (9) members and optionally two (2) co-oped members (where the committee selects two other members to join the Committee). Only those members of the KSB who are 35 years old and under may become Committee Members of the KYC.
